BEC Exams

Being successful in international business and commerce often means having a good knowledge of English. The Cambridge BEC exams provide an internationally  recognised business qualification which shows one’s English language ability in a business context.  The BEC exams are linked to the Council of Europe’s Common European Reference for Languages (CEFR).  There are 3 levels of exams:

• BEC Preliminary (CEFR B1)
• BEC Vantage (CEFR B2)
• BEC Higher (CEFR C1).

The BEC exams form part of the Cambridge ESOL exams (English for Speakers of Other Languages), the most internationally recognised range of certificates for learners of English.  Each year they are taken by more than 2 million people in 130 countries.
